| The Livin Ends documentary is scheduled for release in the spring of 2005.
Marketing, Distribution and Community Building - The release of the film will correspond with the release of the newly recorded Livin' Ends material. The group is available for press junkets, television and radio interviews and concerts. This project has multi-media appeal and will tie-in with Arts and Leisure sections of major newspapers and magazines, as well as a human interest story for television magazine shows, Public Broadcasting and commercial television and film festivals.
National Broadcast Television - Key contacts for PBS and HBO are being secured.
The documentary, conceived by Vinny Carella and Jake Gorst, is being developed through King of Queens Music and Jonamac Productions. Funding is made possible by tax-deductible donations from humanitarians, individuals, corporations and foundations with a love of the arts and a desire to further cultural education.
The Livin' Ends will be told by on camera interviews of band members, producers, and historians. The documentary will include photographs, 8-mm home movies, and footage from the National Archives. The documentary will be scored using vintage and recent Livin' Ends recordings. This web site will serve as a portal for the dissemination of information on the production. A production journal, press releases, video clips and other relevant data will be posted on a regular basis.
Project Evaluation - The progress of the project will be documented on the project web site and monitored by Film/Video Arts, King of Queens Music and Jonamac Productions fiscal sponsor, and by financial contributors. To keep all interested parties up to date, Jonamac Productions will send out periodic e-mail newsletters.
